We look forward to holding a live NRH Pop Up Gallery once

COVID-19 restrictions have been fully lifted. In the meantime, stay safe and well ...

and make some art (it's good for you)!

The City of North Richland Hills will soon be releasing a Call for Art for

an “Outdoor Art Exhibition,” an offshoot of the NRH Pop Up Gallery, for the Spring of 2021.  2D and 3D artists from the greater Northeast Tarrant County area will be invited to make online submissions of their best representational or abstract art and photography on any theme for possible inclusion into the NRH Outdoor Gallery’s Spring 2021 Group Exhibition, located at the Adventure World Woodland Excursion.

The NRH Parks & Recreation Department will be producing the “Nature Gallery” as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the necessity for social distancing, but it more importantly honors the indelible connection that the creative and natural worlds share.

Park and Trail visitors at Adventure World and Cross Timbers Park will walk the nature path and be able to view photographic images of the artwork of notable and gifted artists who live in the greater North Richland Hills area. Short descriptive paragraphs about the work and artist biographies will be included in the display and a QR code link will allow park visitors to view a 1-minute video visit (housed on the NRH Pop Up Gallery website) of the artist in their studio. Details will follow very soon.

The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam has created a "hyper resolution" image of Dutch painter Rembrandt's (1606-1669) "The Night Watch" that can be viewed online. Click on the button below to see the painting in exquisite detail.
